The Canaima National Park, located in a region of unique beauty, is one of the world's largest national parks. This Park can only be reached by plane, usually in small Cessnas of 5 seats. The flight to Canaima is in itself a fantastic experience, because of the unique landscape of the Gran Sabana: bright rivers running through the green savannah, at the bottom of the blue lakes and dark flat summits above the mountain, sailing as battleships on the Guiana plateau. The park consists of Canaima and the northwestern region of the Gran Sabana, an endless, magnificent landscape of high-rising plateau mountains, waterfalls and tropical vegetation of extraordinary beauty.
